Unfortunately, I HAVE used Linux. Doesn't have even half the options of Blackbox for Windows... Only reason I use Windows, in fact... :(

Then you know there are more than just Blackbox, Fluxbox, OpenBox, just to mention 3, there are so many more that you can make as good or better. Windows will never have as much option as Linux. The Tux Rocks !!

No argument on that, but there is no Linus *box shell that can match Blackbox for Windows, I am afraid. Have YOU tried it out? :)

Yes i use all the time, i just dont spend that spend much time creating things but i have seen so many and better screens in Linux. Let me show you some links ! [link]
Here you can find almost all of them: [link]
Here a interesting one:[link]
OpenBox is super modular!! [link]
You can add w/e you want on top of OpenBox, different task bars, gagets, docks, just what your imagination can think!!

Thanks for the links, my friend, I had most of them already, and I was a Freshmeat subscriber until it closed down. But do you really like those screenshots? They look so dated! I mean that's what BBLean 1.16 looked like a long time ago. Have you tried more recent builds, like BlackboXZ? (XZero450's BBClean build). They include options not even Openbox can match. And I don't want gadgets on top of BB, I want plugins or things I can create myself using bbinterface. Now, THAT's something no Lixux *box can imitate. As for looks... Blackbox for Windows beats any of those screenies hands down. Take a close look at my latest uploads :)

You know some of that stuff is there way before Windows and there are way newer software that beats windows far way, well what im saying is you could do even greater jobs with more powerful tools !!
I know you are used to bbInterface and it is like habits things we are used and it is hard to lose some habits !!

Lol... True, it's hard. But I don't need newer software, I need shells. And, like I said, nix Blackbox can't math Blackbox for Windows... I've seen latest submissions based on Fluxbox and Openbox. Still look dated compared to BB for Win. Have you compared screenshots?
